CWL Seattle Recap

After placing Top 12 at CWL Birmingham, the Enigma6 Call of Duty team of General, Sender, Diabolic, and aBeZy, set their sights on CWL Seattle. The guys made quick work of the Open Bracket, dropping only one map through the first five rounds. With a Round 1 Bye, the team went on to face Capture Gaming in Round 2, and closed the Best of 3 series out 2-0. In Round 3, they faced Hydra Gaming and dropped one map in this Best of 3, but still took the series. Round 4 saw a matchup against No Remorse, where the team made quick work with a 2-0 win. In the 5th Round, we saw Vast eSports, comprised of Theory, Nagafen, Maux, and Proto, where we took the Best of 5 series 3-0, and secured our spot in Pool Play. Check out an interview with General with Dexerto about advancing to Pool Play: https://www.dexerto.com/news/four-open-bracket-teams-advance-to-pool-play-at-cwl-seattle-updated-groups/48802

In Pool Play, we landed in Pool C with Mindfreak, compLexity, eUnited, and Luminosity. It was a rough start, dropping the first series 3-1 to Mindfreak, but that didn’t set the pace or the toe for the rest of the matches to come. Up next came compLexity, comprised of former Enigma6 players Censor, Dashy, and Blazt. This match was personal, and was quickly finished with a 3-0 sweep on our end! The next matches played two important factors in our pool. Winning the first series against eUnited would, and did, put us at the top of our pool with a hard-fought 3-2 finish. In the second series, against Luminosity, we fought a tough battle but pulled the series 3-2, securing our spot at the top of our pool, and a spot in the Championship Winner’s Bracket with eUnited.

In our first match in the Championship Winner’s Bracket, we faced a tough Echo Fox team of Temp, Aqua, Saints, and Faccento. We dropped the series 3-2, knocking us to Round 4 of the Loser's Bracket leading into the final day of the event. Round 4 pit us up against Luminosity in a rematch from Pool Play. Luminosity had a hot Sunday with several 3-0 wins, including this Round 4 match, placing Enigma6 with a Top 12 finish.

The guys played an amazing event in Seattle, and we see nothing but continued success with the chemistry these guys have. CWL Anaheim is in our sights, and we are #E6Focused on taking it all!
